Imagine It! The Children’s Museum of Atlanta to Celebrate July 4th with Patriotic Crafts, Music, and a “Firework” Extravaganza

Details:      Children will have the opportunity to create American flags and decorate water bottle holders and funglasses in red, white, and blue to take with them to the firework show at Centennial Olympic Park (located across the street). The patriotic festivities will continue with a parade led by Imaginator Jerry G. and his drums, followed by the singing of Star Spangled Banner and You’re A Grand Ole Flag. The afternoon will end with a bang as children are invited to participate in our “firework” extravaganza!

**All active and veteran military personnel will receive free admission and all family members will each receive $3 off general admission price with military I.D on July 4, 2012.

Museum hours: Monday through Friday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Admission is $12.75 plus tax for adults and children ages 2 and above; children under 2 are free. The Children’s Museum is located in the Lucky Marietta District at 275 Centennial Olympic Park Drive NW.
